This podium-type apartment building fits in a long lot bounded by two alleys in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore. The brownfield site is a former metal plating company and required extensive remediation after a fire destroyed the existing warehouse.

The proposed apartment building consists of fifty, 700 square foot, loft apartments, fifty structured parking spaces, a roof garden, activities room and a fitness room. This inventive approach for new construction reduces the corridor area by 50 percent and provides an apartment unit that is affordable and fresh.
